A variety of quests will take gamers across multiple unique star systems in a hostile galaxy and, along the way, they may potentially uncover the reason for the supernatural presence of this ancient civilization. While traversing the galaxy in search of goods to trade, the player will come across awe-inspiring monuments and relics left behind by an unknown civilization whose long-deceased inhabitants are still present and unwelcoming. The player takes on the role of a raider in service of the Human Empire, an occupation that requires travelling to the far reaches of space and an ongoing fight for survival. Unfortunately, the galaxy’s new inhabitants quickly learn that they are not alone. In Haunted Space, during the second age of human civilization, millions of colonists arrive in Neterun and build a giant factory known as the Metal Mother Facility in order to harvest Sonic Matter, the most precious element in the universe.

The game will include fast-paced dogfights against other space vessels and a variety of gargantuan creatures, space trading, an in-depth ship building system, and multi-stage boss battles.
